One of our members on here called M-Tek Performance sells chips for the Omega. Send him a PM for details - you can find him on the members list by clicking on the Members tab near the top of the screen.

2.0l estate possible not the best engine to start from if you are trying to improve performance.  May be better to replace with V6 if performance is what you are after....

I'd agree with what's said already. The 2.0 is a sound and reliable car if all you do is cruise along and don't expect the world from it.

However when you get into the realms of performance upgrades - upgrading a 2.0 engine is not worthwhile on such a heavy car, a V6 is a much better option.

Agreed. It comes back to what I said in another thread recently. Get the biggest standard engine, and if that's too slow it's time to start tuning.

Yes, you can tune a 2.0 NA engine to give 200+ BHP if you really want to. It's not an engine I'd want in an Omega because it'd be as peaky as a peaky thing. (Nice in something lighter though :y) The turbo route is an option but it'll end up costing the earth just to reach the level of performance a V6 will deliver and, whilst you could go beyond that for more cash, it won't be as refined as the V6 and, again, your insurance company will view it as a liability in comparison to a factory standard V6.
