pre 98 ones are the same anyway, so will fit.

The 3.0l had a longer plenum to tune it better to engine, 2.5 is nicely tuned anyway.

Changing the plenium will make no difference to the tune of your 2.5 at all, as they are the same part. to make a diff you need to put 3.0 cams in and add a 4 bar fuel pressure regulator and all new seals.

just done the upgrade myself, big difference. :y

doubtful - when they put the bigger one on the 3.0l to improve it, they didn't revise performance figures...

I bought a 3.0 to break for the cams and the fuel pressure regulator i got from ebay.

Total cost including the car and all the seals and gaskets was about £400.

Cams on avg go for about £100.
if you have an x25xe engine then you need  inlet and ex cams.
if you have an c25xe engine then you only need the inlet cams.

Yeah - What about the Y26SE?

(Martin, do i have one of those?  i trust it's the same engine as yours...)

It'd be nice if 3.2 cams would have a simular effect of a 2.6!

I have seen some omegas fitted with c25xe engines , but prob only after a failure of the original motor. To all intense and puposes they are the same motor just ancillies were changed, and some say that they were faster, but dont ask me how. :-/
