Ive got a 2.5 V6 and the rear multiram doesnt move...........how can I check what is wrong with it ?

Check the vac pipe layout, and check you have vacuum where vac pipes go in to solenoid.

Sorry to sound thick........I pulled a pipe off a box thingy today (to the side of the multiram) and it was sucking.......is that correct ?

yup.

can you move multiram by hand?

have you swapped solenoid from front multiram to test?

presumably no engine light on dash?

Yes, the lever thing moves when pushed.........
Which is the solenoid ?
I have no lights coming on....

Firstly how are you checking that it doesn't move?

The secret for the rear one is to give the throttle a good hard blip rather than a hard rev which is whats needed for the front one.

Ive tried all sorts to get it to move.......and it wont (unless I move it with a screw driver !!!)
