Hi,searched for a while,but can't find it,what's the proceedure for headlamp cleaning (projectors),what grade wet and dry is used,after that should is use t-cut or rubbing compound?...many thanks...Wayne

Depends how bad they are but T-cut should do the job on its own

I used very fine wet & dry  1200 I think, very gently, followed by T-Cut. Take care on the edges not to run onto the paintwork !! It took quite a long while to remove the limescale buildup.. but the result was very noticeable.

400 sounds very coarse. I used 2400 and 4000, but should have started at 1200. Start with least aggressive option and see if it removes the largest flaws you're trying to remove. Using wet sanding with soap water as last sanding step will make polishing easier.

400 is too coarse.

1200 grit then upwards...

I didn't think projectors normally needed cleaning up - don't go yellow in the same way as the pre minifacelift ones do..  I also think 400 sounds too coarse.  I'd try just Tcut to start with and see what you think. (and if you use 'wet and dry' make sure its wet )

All done,needed to do the o/s as it had some slight pitting,much better now ....thanks all...Wayne
