Quick release clip part number
« on: 25 October 2007, 11:50:07 »

I am going to order the horsehoe shaped clip that is part of the quick release hose connections that go on to the heater matrix.

Anyone got a part number for that?

Paul.

Do you mean the green bit? It isnt needed....its only on hoses before they are fitted for the first time.

That's the one.
Really? I have had problems with them popping off. So I don't need it?

If the hoses are popping off then they arnt fitted properly.

Hose connector must be pushed fully home, over the bump in the metal pipe, before the lock ring is pushed towards the bulkhead.

Excellent. I mustn't have been fitting them correctly.

Cheers.
