If this all came off an Omega I'd ask the seller how. But, this is the type of set up I got and chopped up to fit my Omega - I think mine was for a model of Astra. The plug that you have in your hand in the 6th photo should plug into a big multi relay module part number 90 513 262 (what's your German like? It also has Anhanger Modul) I baffled a few dealers with it, including the spark at dealer I got it from. There was also a buzzer that you could connect that I assume would opperate with indicators.
I gave up with it all in the end and made up a plug to fit into the square plug behind the trim using half a dozen plugs from the scrap yard.
Not much help I'm afraid.
So which ones do i need to fit ( keeping the MID happy?
Do i need this big module thing? Whats it for?
Do i need the buzzer, i thought with this loom all i needed was a 4 pin flasher unit and to fit a bulb in the dash???

Thanks for the help chaps, we will get there in the end..... :)
And i thought it would be easy....30 mins to fit the bar....30 days to wire it up :(

:-/ Pass! I had another relay that I didn't use either. A 'Anhanger Blinkuberwachung' that I think is for the flashers

Pass again! But if you can plug mine into your loom and it does something, you're more than welcome to it.

You don't need the buzzer, as you say a 4 pin flasher relay will do the job & another lamp in the dash.

Try plugging in to the car what you know is right, plug a trailer board into the 12N socket & see what you get and go from there.

Have you got a 7 pin or 13 pin plug?

Could be that there is wiring on there for fridge supplies, etc. that you don't necessarily need. Also, what about the reversing and fog lights? The clusters for these are in the boot lid so the loom must connect somewhere else to supply these.

TBH, I think by now I would have wired the whole lot into x25 - the proper towing connector provided on the car's loom. All the wires you need in one place.

I had a look in the rear of mine today and it was WAAAAY too much wiring for a simple spanner monkey like me, I'm afraid....   :-[

The loom went up past the spare wheel into the rear bulkhead and there were various connectors, cross connectors and stuff en route and I simply did not have aclue....  Sorry....  :'(

X25 on my facelift saloon is behind the plastic trim panel at the rear of the boot that hides the lock mechanism and protects the boot sill IYSWIM.

It's a round multiway connector towards the driver's side, normally clipped into a hole in the crossmember there.

You might be able to get a kit from VX to plug stright in there. I cut the appropriate wires off the connector and extended them with a bit of multiway cable down to the towbar. Connections were soldered and then heatshrink sleeved for protection.

The only thing to bear in mind is that there's a relay socket in series with the brake light signal here which you need to bridge two connections on to get the brake lights to work. There's info in the ICE / electrical section on that. See this thread for starters:

Round must be face lift. My PRE face lift has a square plug.

Is it the white square-ish plug 3 pin? I looked all around my boot for the same plug the otherr day but couldn't find anything either.
