heater, climate control
« on: 06 November 2007, 12:54:54 »

Hi hope someone can help

having a problem with the c/c, the fans would not work at all the other day but came to live later that day but when I turned the engine off the fans continued to operate.

They ran the battery flat, I have charged the battery so that is now fine and the car runs fine but I have had to remove the fuse for the fans to stop them running.

The passenger side of the omega runs cold are constantly and the driver side hot air constantly also.

what could be the problem?

I keep seeing this one  :-?
It sounds like your heater fan regulator might have blown.
It's situated behind the glovebox & is easy enough to replace although a bit fiddley.
Check the passenger side scuttle drain to see if it's blocked.

Do you mean the fans infront of the radiator or the internal heater fan? If its the external ones I think it will be a sticking relay.

Which fans......interior blower or the rad fans....remember the rad fans always run if the aircon is on (ECO not pressed)
