hi guys can anyone give me advise
i have just rebuilt my 2.5 v6 engine and refitted it, its was running sweet for the fisrt couple of days then 2 nights ago it started miss fireing while i was driving it seemed to even out as revs picked up but still there
tried it again this morning and it took a while to get it started, it seems very lumpy and still missfiring
i have tried the paper clip test even though the management light was not on and it gave these codes

19  rpm signal incorrect
135 check engine lamp low voltage

do you think replacing the crank sensor would cure this or could it be another fault any advise is most welcome

No, not crank sensor.....this sort of symptom and no fault codes points you towards the igniton system so check leads, plugs (none loose?).....and finaly the DIS pack.

I had the same problem with my 1997 Reflection I previously owned, put it into my local vaxhall specialist and they discovered that after 97000 miles the plugs in the right hand bank had not been changed and appeared to be the originals from factory, needless to say was a little annoyed as the previous owner had all servicing done by vaux main delears (cowboyz) with the books stamped, it has something to do with the technicians being paid more if they push more cars through, and hey vauxhall make money too cause they only change 3 out of six plugs but charge for six, apparent reason for not changing is the fact that if u have aircon the  pipework runs across top of the right hand bank making access to plugs tight,, so they leave them and hope you never notice till its too late and you have to empty your wallet into the vauxhall xmas party fund tin,,, after changing all plugs and leads mine ran as sweet as a nut,, Not sure if you did do plugs and leads but got to be worth a try !!!

thanks guys for the info sorted it now it was the dis unit put a new one on and its running fine now  
put some new leads on aswell, should have done them when i rebuilt the engine but it was getting expensive and they looked fine     thanks again

Here's a tip and i dont mean it in a patronising way to everyone one this forum, dont assume that something is ok cos it looked ok, esp coil pack and leads. My dad had his cam cover gaskets done and 1/2 way back to bognor from london it developed a missfire. it turned out to be no 6 lead had broken down after being disturbed. so beware. Glad you got it sorted mate.
