rough running

hi i have a 2.5 on a p reg and its running rough , have put new plugs and leads still no change so took it to garage and put on code reader but no falt found. still got missfire , no lights on dash to say problem ( EML) or any other warnings so dont no what next.have checked for oil and water in plug wells but fine none to be seen,the car drive fine then when you put your foot down it missfires , can anyone help please . just been out in her and on tick over she up and down like a brides nighty. can any one help please ,thanks paul.

Sounds like it could be a faulty DIS pack....

Sounds like a failing DIS pack.

Ignition faults like plugs, lead and DIS pack don't show fault codes.

I've seen pattern DIS packs become available recently.

OEM Bosch replacements are around £70 on Ebay. Vx Bosch ones from dealer are something like £120.

Mind you these look promising at £52, but make sure you get the right one for your car there are 3 types.

it will be ht related i would have thought, so dis/leads/plugs.

DIS pack Omegas do not through a code on a misfire, only cpp cars
