help needed - spare hose???

Been doing the breathers & rocker cover gaskets today. Problem is Ive got a spare hose now & can't remember where it goes!!

Its coming from the back of the engine up beside the breather hoses, its a bit thicker than a breather hose


Can anybody help??

Is it an automatic? probably the transmission breather if so. Just needs clipping out of the way to stop it dropping down.

That's useful!
I was doing the same job on my V6 today and found this hose tucked inunder the plenum pointing down through the fuel injectors. Not connected to anything though  :y

It's the ventilator hose for your auto box. Don't under any circs. close it off!   :y

On mine it was cable tied to the Y breather hose. I cut the cable tie & didn't notice it behind the Y hose.
