The latest message on the dash. Anyone know what this means?  

All I could think of was washer fluid!  There's nothing in the manual.

Its got Xenon's, if that makes any difference.

Normaly this means that there is a fault with the headlight leveling sensors or leveling motors.

probly a broken or siezed sensor on front passenger side bottom arm bud !!

I got the same message immediately after leaving the MOT station

It looks like the little arm that connects the front wishbone to the sensor mechanism has come off or broken at the wishbone end - presumably when they lifted or more likely lowered the car back down onto its wheels.   I have a nasty feeling its snapped.    Anyone know if just the arm can be replaced?

TJ - I believe there is one of these at the back near side too.  You need to check that the electrical connector has not popped off and that the arm mentioned above is still intact.

My 2.2 cdx 2001 has a sensor on both front and rear nearside suspension, I have checked and unseized both of them but am still getting the warning on the display.

One of my leveling motors had leaked at some time, inside it was a corroded mess.
Changing that cleared the message.

Not too hard to remove, headlight partly out, then the motor is on a bayonet type fitting.

Now that is interesting Mike, but where on the headlight is the motor and what do you mean by it leaked?
Do you mean that water has rusted/destoyed the motor/

ITs either a sensor problem (front and rear) or a servo problem within the headlight.  A Tech2 is required to be able to tell which, but easy enough to check visually...

The motor is low on the rear of the light unit, yes it was corroded beyond redemption on the pc board and motor.

Removed both units today, both looked ok and when powered up appeared to be working and no sign of corrosion whatsoever.
I stripped each unit down and greased all moving parts and reassembled. Still get the check warning on the display so I am now assuming that the sensors need replacing. :-/

Thanks for all of your help guys!    I'll take a look at the potentially offending bits over the next couple of days

Normal culprit is the short connecting rod that joins the suspension arm to the sensor bolted onto the body.  Plastic ball joints at either end, easy to pop off.  Cure is a replacement arm from a scrapper (or new unit, if deep pockets....) or if a tight git like me, push old one back on and secure with small cable tie.....
