Get the head measured/skimmed (if you still have it) and replace/rebuild as required.

Heads rarely go on the V6 but the do sometimes.....  generally its an oil cooler fault, not a head gasket one...

If the engine is down to its brass buttons as it appears to be, do the oil cooler at the same time.  Will probably save troubles in time to come and add about £100 or less to the bill......

..... and change the cambelt, tensioners and water pump when you are in there.....   ;)

And, take it from me this fella knows what he's talking about. I had the pleasure of watching Hotel21 change his cambelt in a field in Gloucestershire.

A sight never to be forgotten.  :y
