Bilstein I believe still do stuff for the Omega and you could do worse than contact Leda suspension if you want something special.

I picked up a complete brand new Irmscher spring kit on e-bay for just under £100

Apparently the Omega has the lowest or almost the lowest drag coeffiecent for a car its size. I would go suspension and decent sized tyres/wheels.

Its a big heavy car the Omega so unlesss you want to throw LOTS of money at it then dont go silly with bolt on performance add ons.

The M-Tek chip is worth doing for the price.

If you have the petrol engine then fit a blanking plate under the EGR valve. Also change the petrol filter, you'll be surprised just how much performance can be lost through a dirty filter.

Check that the DIS pack and HT Leads are ok, replace camcover gaskets, clean the oil breather assembly and plenum chamber, renew cambelt and aux belt (The DVD guide is well worth the £3), water pump and spark plugs and stay on top of maitenance.

If you have the 2.5 V6 the stock cams from the 3.0 engine offer better lift than more expensive fast-road 2.5 cams from Piper and Kent.

If you have the 3.0 petrol I have been told that swap the heads with stock 2.5 heads but keep the 3.0 cams will give a nice gain.

Hi,
bringing the car to a %100 healthy state is important and must be completed before any mods..
