Bose
« on: 11 January 2008, 21:15:29 »

I have the chance of a full Bose system from a 2003 Omega, is there a significant difference to what is already in my 2003 CDX. I dont want to go spending good money if there would be no real change.

Thanks

If NCDR/C your going to need Screen (Paired with HU), loom from HU to screen, GPS antenna off roof plus cable. Possibly need cage as well.

Sounds as though its not that straight forward.

Be a lot easier if you stick with your head unit (Presume it's CCR2006?), but will need Tech2 to adjust speaker outputs to an acceptable level for Bose amp.

If it's an NCDC in the car then worth getting (must get screen as well, useless without) to sell on if you don't use it.

Does that mean i could have it tech 2 now to improve the existing speakers, or due to the head unit it would not make any difference.

tech2 mods the outputs to match the external bose amp
