remote locking

 how can i go about getting the remote working as ive only one key and one lock on the drivers door? i have not got a fob key just a hard centre key(if that makes any sence!) also could i get a key from a scrap yard?.AND CAN IT BE ANY KEY? ...lol
and would u have a clue about price wise.ALSO wot year does the omega b run to?many thanks.

also wot year are omega b made to? also can i get any key to work with the locking if i get it going?

dont know about the fob thing but all of the following are omega B:

Pre mini facelift - MY1994 - MY1997
mini facelift - MY1998 - MY1999
Facelift - MY2000 - MY2003

Omega A was a vauxhall carlton in Opel clothing, you may see some references to "Omega C" but thats just the facelift Omega B.

yours is the pre mini facelift, unless it has solid headrests/steering wheel stereo controls
