try syncing it to car by turning ing on and pressing buttons on remote if that dont work then you need a tech2 to programme it bud ! :y

presumably rf type?  that means fob from ebay, a carpass from dealer, and a chat with a tech2

Hiya
Ok i'll try to explain ( but I new to omegas as well )
1st a key from scapper will not work your car and I am assuming the key you have starts car so you need a copy from some one who can copy the code and cut the key to suit your locks. some places do it all some don't, I had my keys copied including chip in key and they work perfect.
2nd you need a RF fob from an omega now this needs to be matched with your cars system and that can only be done by a tech 2 owner or Vauxhall. I obtained 2 fobs off fleabay and had em programed and they work fine too

So I started with 1 key 1fob now have 3 keys and 3 fobs all work fine certain high street locksmith / cobbler did my keys read the chip code off my key and programed the others but they can't do fobs and not all branches have key coder

Hope that helps

Yours will have the seperate fob (not key integrated type).

Check your ecu is megamos (behind drivers kick panel).

Then buy from fleabay, and get a local autolocksmith to program it. Or if you pass Marks_DTM or I.....
