MV6 Estate ride height.
« on: 27 January 2008, 12:37:40 »

I know the ride height topic has been covered a few times lately but after seeing the replies it has made me aware how high my 2.0 cd estate sits.
I have a new set of 17" wheels and 235 tyres to fit and want to lower the rear by about 25 to 30mm from the current 420 mm (wheel centre to arch ) .
I believe MV6 rear estate springs are lower than the standard model items by about that figure.
Can I ask if some of you with a MV6 estate can measure the distance from wheel centre to arch ( car unladen ) to make sure that they are what I am looking for.
I've just fitted new standard gas shocks on the rear so it will settle but the car has always been high .
Thanks
Don :y

I can measure later today and prob post tonight (MV6 Face Lift Estate). Dont forget that the MV6 Estates are self leveling, bear this in mind if you lower your CD and put some weight in the back one day.

If you lower, you will also need to get camber adjusted.

Prefacelift MV6 does lowering on shocks, not the springs.
