Heated seat

my omega heated seats. on the passengers seat there is a small burn hole . when someone is sat in this seat and you turn the heated seat on it burns there ass. does anyone know if it can be repaired and how?

You can get replacement pads from a Vx stealer.  I think there are two sets, one for the seat and one for the back.  They had to be ordered in and took a while.

I had this issue too, where after a minute my ass would be on fire and the pad had gone wrong so I replaced them and I now have a lovely warm seat, which is handy with the current weather.

My SWMBO had a "hot spot" on her seat .. but didn't tell me about it ... within a week the seat caught fire !!! :(  pictures here ...

So, if the seat is misbehaving ... stop using it !!!!

It depends upon the seat, leather needs complete cover change.

Our 98 2.5 Elite has cloth, but heaters are not separately replaceable, they need covers as well.

Is there another way to find out, apart from dismantling the seat?
