Limited mechanics service
« on: 09 October 2007, 08:36:15 »

I've decided to resume the mobile mechanics service from October onwards, but I'm not going to take on as much as before (eg manifold gaskets etc).

Jobs will be strictly:

Cambelt kits.
Servicing.
Camcover gaskets/breathers
Oil coolers.
Other very common Omega ailments.

I had just had enough of humping gearboxes and cylinder heads on and off on peoples driveways! I've enjoyed the little break from it, but I seem to have an addiction to getting my hands dirty.

I'll do a bit of a price list in the parts section possibly later, but obviously I can be contacted by PM with any queries.

(Ps, TD, this doesn't apply to you, I'll make a special exception for your HG) ;D

May be worth advertising your prices in your sig instead of a post?  That way you could change/amend/delete as the time etc available changes...

Manifold gasket problems are very common. You will be losing too much money. Why dont quote a higher price for that as its a long job ?

I don't do it for the money - I do it for the pleasure. It's not my day job :y

I know exactly how you feel... V6s are a little out of my range of experience, but I'm still looking forward to pulling bits off, squinting at them, cleaning them, then putting them back on. :D

 PM sent, anyhow...
