Vauxhall dealers
« on: 09 February 2008, 11:52:08 »

Dont you just love em not, after attempting to change my crankshaft sensor this morning i find they have supplied the wrong sensor (part no 90492006 should have been 90492061) i know i should have checked old over new beforehand, even after giving them the reg number they get it wrong,im then told i might have had a engine change! the one supplied is the square plug for earlier cars but the dealer wont have it that he is wrong ,ah well im gonna get one of of ebay instead and save my self £30 (dealers agreed to take the one supplied back even though the reciept says no returns for electrical items).  ::)

your not the only one who has had snags with them......

They had my car for a sevice and mot last year and broke the headlight adjusters using a electric alen key to adjust them, they refused to replace them at their cost so i had to replace them £160 later for both lights......NEVER using VX AGAIN!!!!!!

you sure on those numbers? Normally numbers starting "94...." are linkied to the Isuzu parts.

The crank sensor should start "90..." but dont quote me on that as i haven't got epc at hand.

Numbers at the bottom, get a problem give us a ring and i'll look into it for you

cheers
