But you can have the vauxhall computer - tech2, such as used by the boy and marks dtm calib, plugged into your car.
This reads fault codes from all on board systems, and can update them if new software has been released - common ones being gearbox, climate, instument panel.
Both the Gearbox update and the climate update are regarded as well worth having.
Before the climate update, the fans always seemed to harsh, and was like sitting in a gale, so constantly trying to turn them down, redirect air, which the settings dont last long for. After the update, the whole system feels much improved, the fans arn't as harsh and it seems to keep a stable temperature much easier, whole system just feels 'nicer'.
Well worth doing.
(Gearbox update if you are interested makes changes smoother, and the box less jumpy, also feels more powerful)
