Washer sizes
« on: 14 February 2008, 14:50:47 »

Is the gearbox washer the same as the oil drain plug washer?

Picked one up at Vaux today, and it seems indentical to the oil washers.

Have they given me the wrong one or are they the same?

Cheers

Dont worry. EPC saves the day :

Oil
Seal, Ring, 14 x 20 mm, Drain Plug pn : 11023582

Gearbox
Seal, ring, 14.2 x 19.9, Drain Plug, Automatic Transmission, pn 11023582

So the Answer is Yes They are Different, and the same  :-?

Dealer was very helpful today....

Had the little fella with me, who was a real charmer....
One of them dissapeared into the back, and brought him out a load of 'styling brochures', he was made up, he's only 3!  Best bit was pre and post facelift omega brochures were in the pile, gawd knows where they had those stashed!

I got an old (red) trade club book out of em as well, beats the bin having it  ;D
