same as any V6.

Should be middle of the gauge, 95 in normal operation, slightly below on a motorway cruise 92/93.

Should go up to 97, when the fans will kick in, and bring it down again.

Should never reach or go past 100

Yep!

If it reaches 100 its running too hot, considering the cold weather at the moment.

Got a 50/50 mix of antifreeze in there?

had the car for 4 months unsure about the anti freeze mixture am going to change before the summer but u seem to have shown me a new problem as the gauge was showing 100 when i turned the car back on after driving but have never noticed the fans going as i walk away from the car as soon as i started it the gauge dropped to 92 after 30 secs of engine running must be a problem with the fan run on switch cheers bloody great cars though love it

2.5 v6 usually runs a little cooler at about 92-93 in normal operation...3.0 v6 as stated...

Had you been revving it hard? Are breathers blocked perhaps, causing extra workload for the engine??

Get it changed, now, with this recent cold snap its not going to do well for the engine.

Its £15 for 5L of Vx Red Anti-freeze, get a 50/50 mix in there now. And make sure its in all year around.

Has it gone up a lot then?  I seem to recall it was about a tenner and even less on TC
