Here's the whole story: Last friday I was cruising around town and got an sudden urge to floor it so I drove to the outsite of town and on 90 Km/h road I turned around at a shop and floored it as I got back on the road in sport mode which I pressed Just after flooring it, and accelerated up to 90 and then took it off sport mode and continued the cruise. I turned off the motorway a minute later and on a gravel road for maybie half a minute and once I got on normal tarmac again the Engine light came on and I pulled over. I noticed that it idled very rough and after short look into the engine department I turned the car off and after more checks I tryed to turn it on and it wouldn't start. The engine had gotten up to operation temperature long before I went out of town, A week before I had noticed the creamy oil inside the oil cap(there's a while since it was changed, aprox 5000km) and it has had the rough idle before only couple of times before but less rough. The car is my moms and it is driven almost only short trips and often in cold conditions and not fast or until this time. it has 155.### km on the clock and has been fine until now and its an Opel Omega 2.5 caravan automatic GL model late '97.
Update: My mom went to check the car the evening after and tryed to start it, and it started!

The EML was on for few seconds and no rough idle, it drove fine except perhaps small rough(not sure) idle at red light. I'm now going to try the paperclip test and perhaps let some mechanic check it out

Thanks for the advises everyone!
