Just bought a 2.2 petrol/LPG auto on a Y plate 2001.
It occasionally is very rough when trying to pull away at junctions and has stalled a few times (can't keep the revs up with an auto).
When it happened last I tried revving in neutral and it's rough up to about 2500rpm then clear above that. Also tried running on petrol rather than LPG and it was exactly the same.

Any ideas?

No one will be ignoring you, just that no one is able to answer your query.

Have you checked obvious things such as for air leaks/gas leaks?

I have no experience of lpg installs, perhaps somone who has may well answer...

1)Check if your EML light works.(Previous owner may have removed
   the bulb to hide a fault). When sure ok, check if EML light comes on.
   If so, have the codes read that will be stored in your ECU. Post any
   codes up here. (You can't paperclip a 2.2L).

2)Check your plug wells for oil or water. Post up results here, good
   or bad.

3)Clean breathers iaw this guide by 'Auto Addict'. Pay particular
  attention to the breather hole highlighted in the last picture
  by a red arrow.

4)Check for air leaks (including your Vac pipework) downstream
   of your Mass Airflow Sensor.

How old are your plugs and leads?
Might be worth cleaning the idle control valve.

Breathers possibly , and a good place to start from as its a  cheap fix

went to clean the breathers and they were full of emulsion... The spark plug holes are full of oil.... Not good.
Does this sound like head gasket?

sounds like ,blocked breathers,which creates excess crankcase pressure which forces oil out of the cam cover gaskets ,in time the oil will then damage plug leads and then dis unit,sounds like you are somewhere along this process.

sorry,should also have mentioned that there is all the info needed to sort these problems here on the forum,that is if you are reasonably mechanically minded

Removed the throttle body today (had to get a torx socket).
It was very dirty and the hole arrowed in the guide was completely blocked and took some shifting with a sewing needle!!
Put it all back together and since I now had the torx socket I checked the rocker cover bolts - 1 of them was completely loose!!
So I'm hoping that this solves the problem. I'll check after a run if the rocker gasket still leaks and if so change it.
