Cruise control is implemented in the engine ECU. Possibly there are updates for this - why do you ask?

An update that stopped the emissions light coming on ad-nauseum would be nice.  ::)

Yer i would go for one of them too. Just looking at a few things to do i have had the Autobox update which was a great help and was also told by VXL that the Climate  update stops the fans from sounding like a jet plan on start up. So just looking at geting the CC and Cruise done at some stage. I dont think main have had it done as yet.

Thanks for the infor guys. :y

So, what would the difference be if the cruise control was updated?

Daft question here but if you update the ECU (Engine) software does that update / overwrite the map as well?

Oh and the latest engine management software doesn't 'resolve' the wonderous emissions lamp problem.....

Yes, it will overwrite the map.  Why, yours running a modified map?

I've got a 3.2 and am having the Autobox and Climate Control done soon by TB.

What does this latest engine ECU update bring to a 2001 3.2 Elite?

Not sure if the KWP gadget will copy the map off, allow tech2 to reflash, then put map back on  :-/

KWP?  ::)

When MDTM did my Autobox and Climate updates he said that the engine management s/w was the latest (This was last July I think). Can't remember what version he said it was now.
