I've always pronounced Omega as OH-mega, which my g/f has constantly told me is wrong - should be Ameega or Omeega. I can't change my ways that quickly so the Omega is henceforth known as the Luxo-Barge.

I'm with you Oh-meg-a. Always seems to cause confusion as most tend to call them Oh-meeg-a. It used to the "Bl00dy Oh-meg-a!"
