« on: 27 February 2008, 09:07:32 »

The coolant rad fan on my car has started making a nasty noise and I suspect the bearings are shot...any idea of part number and cost..1998 2.5 saloon elite...expect you cannot get bearings only so looks like a new motor

If it's the rear fan I think these rarely fail, breaker should be a good bet.

Thanks guys for your help, especially andyc with your never ending supply of perfect information.
Any idea of date when chassis changed from S1167282....to later version?
It sounds like bearings are really shot in mine as sounds like a helicopter with broken blades.
