Reading all the problems with front camber I thought i'd give some feedback on these bolts.
After fitting new wishbones I had the first of three full alignment checks. After the first I noticed that the pulling to N/S was gone and the car drove much ,much better ,however the camber on the front was way too much ,so bad that the N/S tyre was scuffing on the strut !
I took it back and asked for it to be checked and a copy of the print out that I never got first time round. I never got the print out ,possibly a break down in the tranlation between Scottish and Eastern European :-?. Anyway camber was still a mile too positive but he assured me it was " cooreect foor carrrr ". I don't know if he understood what 'dangle berries' meant but he didn't respond.
I ran it for a week and took it back again and asked for another person to check it but it seems he is the only person of high enough intellect to operate the "complicated digital thingy... "Managers words.
So after compiling some info re the camber from this site and others I bought a couple of adjuster bolts from LMF. 2 days delivery to Ireland ,brilliant...

Now I know everyone rates WIM in Watford and Tony is I believe the GURU re alignment but I'm in SW Ireland, a bit too far to Watford methinks.
Anyway, going on info on this site and others ,most cars will happily drive on zero camber ie verticle, indeed both my vans , my Manta and my wifes freelander all are or near zero ie verticle.
Using a good quality straight edge cut to sit on the outside rim of the wheel but not touching the tyre , a good triangulated builders tri square and an accurate spirit level I found that the adjustment of the bolts was very easy after they were fitted ( 20 mins each side )
I couldn't set the camber to any accurate figure but I did it so that the spirit level was just off the horizontal and equal on both sides.
The adjustments HAVE to be made on a level surface ,my garage floor was laid using a laser level and is spot on.
I've driven about 300 miles now and all is well .No pulling, self centering OK and visually it looks much much better.I've fitted two new tyres on front so will monitor carefully over next few thousand miles.
All in all I'm more than happy with the results and would reccomend these bolts to anyone who has accurate alignment but incorrect camber.
Incidently Frost tools sell a camber gauge for about £30 and this gauge is shown in several video instructions in fitting these bolts.
If anyone wants more info please PM or e mail me and I'll be happy to tell all.
Cheers
Don
