steering vibration

Ihave a slight vibration in steering get worse at 75 to 80 mph but once accellerate through 80 vibration stops also on rare occassion when do a right hand turn you hear a sound like rubbing from front left of car i have checked to make sure the tyres r not rubbing against body work and its all fine                      ;D :y
