You don't say what your starting point (engine size) is

EGR valve will close on full throttle anyway. Make sure you're getting the most from what you've got. Does the induction air suck only hot air from in front of the radiator or is it able to take warm air from the engine bay?

Exhaust manifolds are reckoned to be a weak point and looking at the factory ones that's fair comment. Problem is, although one or two sources have tubular manifolds for the V6 they are for LHD Omegas and would likely not fit a RHD car.

The frank answer is, to do much more is going to start getting very expensive because there aren't too many off-the-shelf solutions available.

I'm in the same process....just ordered the smoothed/polished throttle plates, blocked off egr and removed hot water pipes from throttles too. Added an induction kit too.

Haven't done exhaust, but when I do will be looking for cat bypass pipes.  Also looking for some inlet cams to replace the existing exhaust ones.

Then might look into a unichip or similar.

Try a cooler thermostat from courtney sport too.

Your issue is threefold:

1. lack of support for such a car in terms of well developed add ons.
2. Those that are out there are way over priced, unproven or just gimmicks
3. Not knowing your engine or BHP, but the v6 really needs some extensive work to take much more - ie supercharged power...

I recall discussion that the cooling around the rear cylinders isn't up to the job above 250 BHP too.

Compression is quite high as standard so if you want to get a significant increase by forced induction that will need to be reduced.

TBH, if the car is significantly below your aspirations in standard form it might be easier to look at an engine swap for something with more tuning support.

Or you could try a VX Monaro Wortec supercharged engine. Over 600bhp.

That might do it.
