Where's this pipe go???
« on: 19 March 2008, 21:44:31 »

When playing around (!) with fitting an aftermakret stereo at the weekend, i found a brown rubber hose floating (whilst its twin was disappearing upwards somewhere).  Anyone know where it goes..and could it be related to my inability to get warm area on my feet, no matter where I put the heater control knob?

Sounds like one of the vac pipes thats used to control the heating setup.
It will connect to the back of the air direction dial....

Oh dear.....another triple jointed wrist job, I guess - unless there's a shortcut?  How does one get to the back of the heater controls?

Just behind the heater control panal is a plastic block that has lots of pipes on it, it may of come off of there, so check that first, as it does or may be the cause of your lack of heat in the cabin. There is not a lot of room behind the radio so some ham fisted peson may of been a bit clumsy in fitting the radio at some time. ::)
