Would a cruise control unit from a 1997 3.0 fit my 1994 2.0 miggy?

i believe the unit is exactly the same however im pretty sure you will need the shorter cable,

opposite way round. The v6 cable is short, the 16v is longer, the actuator cable btw, not the electrical cable.

I have a cruise control unit off a 98 3.0 v6 with the longer plenum...hence longer cable...would that be about the right length for the 2.0 16v??
