Hi ....... found a plastic sliding door with air con logo in glove box ....... would anybody know what this is for ??

Its for chilling the glovebox on early Omegas (removed from later ones).  Handy to keep those emergency choccies from going soggy.

It's in mine, and have to say works surprisingly well whilst driving.
Does warm up a bit quick when you park up though.
Almost a built in fridge, but needed more insulation around the glovebox.

I stopped my wife from eating in the car so i don't need a chilled glovebox and plus it's not big enough for a can of beer.

Garage clear out in March 2011 and I will have a large amount of omega parts going very cheap.
