Tyre wear...
« on: 04 April 2008, 16:47:53 »

Had the geometry sorted and new tyres on the car last November.  It used to wear the drivers rear like mad on the inside (down to the canvas), and the others were also all worn down to slicks...

Just checked today, the rears are still perfect (pretty much like new) as is the passenger front, but now the drivers front is wearing only on the inside.  The center run of the tyre, and the outside edge is fine.  Just the last 1" of tread on the inside (as it curves round to the sidewall) is worn smooth...

Car had new wishbones prior to me getting it, not sure about droplinks though...

Reckon its worth just getting the alignment done again incase its out, or would it be worth investigating this further, as I can't afford to keep replacing tyres...

Cheers
