Hi all,

1998 Omega 2.5 V6 auto (with Aircon)

Just for curiosity, is there a way of finding the version number of the ECU firmware without the use of a Tech2?

Should there be a later version available, is it worthwhile updating the ECU….what difference would it make?

No real advantage of upgrading, unless you are after performance improvements from 3rd party maps.

I was kind of expecting the later firmware might improve the existing silky smooth ride...
