Can I do This?

Hello all, I came so close to owning a Omega a week back, missed out by £20 on Ebay. Anyway, Ive found another its a 2000 Omega Estate 2.2 gls, so no leather or Cruise (which apart from it being an estate are essential)

Its got 102k on the clock with full Vaux service History and they are wanting £1500

Couple of questions if anyone can answer them.

How can I find out if it would be a simple removal of the Stalk and replace with a CC Stalk and a trip to a Tech 2?

Also are there any problems changing Interiors from cloth to Leather and does anyone have one for sale  :o

Cruise will be stalk (£30 ish), tech2 reprogram (price varies - http://theboy.omegaowners.com), and possibly clutch switch if manual (most 2.2s have the switch already).

Ther's an omega 2.5 elite in Ossett for £1495 ....  :) but only saloons .. :(

I've used a leeds postcode in this search and a radius of 40 miles ... :)

Ive got about £2200 to spend. Id like a Facelift Omega Estate, otherwise theres quite a few around. My region is TS23 4AG

Not many elite estates around close to you  :(

Have you had a play with autotrader ? .. change the spec list etc ??

Remember any post 98 car has side airbags, so if replacing seats, ensure the new ones have side airbags as well...
