should the headlight switch "click"
« on: 08 April 2008, 21:53:58 »

is the rotary headlight switch supposed to click between positions? Mine just rotates with no sort of tactile feedback - I'm used to VAG ones clicking between functions. Is mine worn or as normal?

Should click, I've bu**ered mine as well.  I passed an MOT without it clicking so I wouldn't worry about it.

Yes, classic signs that its been removed and somebody has popped the retaining springs out and lost the spring and ball bearing!

I suspected it might have been removed because I found a bulb that I recognised as being from the switch unit from a thread on here. It also doesn't illuminate the foglight switches. Not a prob yet as I've not driven in any fog!
