« on: 14 April 2008, 14:49:50 »

Every now and then it developes a misfire that only lasts about 5 or 6 seconds. Sometimes the engine managment light comes on when it misfires then the light goes out and the misfire stops.I know that the car goes into a safety mode when the eml comes on, but why does it bloody misfire.....please please and pretty please somebody help me.
P.S it seems to misfire more when i go round a sharp corner or roundabout.....how weird is that???????? ;D

If the EML comes on there will be fault codes stored......read them. It could be a number of things including a broken wire to, say, a knock sensor which makes and breaks as you corner and the engine moves slightly.
