Oil and diesel filter change 2.2dti
« on: 12 April 2008, 21:30:09 »

Looking for some help with my first Omega, just about to service my 2.2dti on a 52 plate.Got myself a filter kit and unsure where the oil & diesel filters are on the car. Also what tools required. Serviced my old Saab for many years but this diesel looks a bit strange to me. So anybody with some info would be great help                                                                                             regards Paul

the oil filter is on the right hand side( from the front),its at the back and 3/4 down the engine block, the filter is a drop in paper type ,but you will nee a 32mm socket and extension to remove the housing cap
the diesel filter is on the left ,between the the radiater header tank and the engine block , torx bit needed and the pipe clips are fiddly, relocate the header tank for more room, hope this helps
