« on: 15 April 2008, 17:18:06 »

When i lock the CDX with the remote the drivers door will not lock, but yet the other 3 door will
If i try and lock the door with the key then all of them will lock.
if i try and unlock the door with the remote they will all unlock

Lazy motor ?  Mechanics may mean its harder to lock than unlock the doors..

Could be worth removing the door card and giving the locking mechanism a spray.

Sounds like you need a new door locking motor/solenoid thing Jay

Motor.....the key gives it enough kick to operate....and when un-locking a different contact on the micro switch in the motor will be in use.

Saying that make sure you are getting the shut pulse at the motor as the key overides that, i had the same thing on my Zafira it would lock but not unlock on a rear door and that was a wiring fault :-/
