Elite now gone.  Bought an X-Type 4x4.  If there had been an Omega 4x4 I would have bought that instead.  We really liked the Omega, but I wanted 4x4.

As an absolute  the belt and tensioners should be replaced EVERY 40K OR 4 YEARS ..Not 1 mile more or you are asking for trouble with the engine..I tend to be thinking along the 35k as I drive that annualy it is done every year.Dont leave it much longer and worth doing the water pump at same time whilst stripped down.

Like already said above about the cambelt and tensioners every 40,000 miles or 4 years which ever comes first.... i have read also that water pumps every other cambelt change but personally i would change every cambelt as water pumps are only 30 odd pound.

Because 4pots have cambelt driven water pumps, i would change the waterpump on every cambelt change too...

V6 is aux belt driven, so not a big issue.
