Think just CDX and Elite...

can be added to all drive by wires, just by adding a stalk and having it enabled with tech2.

The cable'd engines can all have it retrofitted by adding the actuator and stalk, no computer work required.

They pop on ebay frequently at about £60-70
or you may be lucky like me and get one for 99p!

I agree, I have a '98 CD Estate and I don't have cruise control.

Thanks

pretty sure factory fit is just CDX and ELITE

could be specified on any other for £500 I think..
and of course many people have recently retrofitted it ;)

cruise control optional extra thoughout the entire range.

Fitted as standard though to:

CDX/Elite's only!

Everything else it was an optional extra.

2.5TD & Petrol engines -2.2/2.6/3.2 - Cruise can easily be added, tech2 upgrade + new stalk + possible clutch/brake switch

2.0/2.5/3.0 petrols it can be added needs actuator and cable and few other bits

cruise control is often more fuel efficient than driving "manually"

on motorways and decent clear A roads I find i get between 1 and 3 more MPG when on cruise control than when not....

CC is VERY useful for ensuring you don't bust speed limits .. especially in SPEC'd areas !! :)

I find it great to make me behave...

Several times
I put my foot down to overtake
overtake then
I put my foot down to overtake
overtake then
I put my foot down to overtake
overtake then
I put my foot down to overtake
overtake then
look at the speedo, think oops bye bye license time :'(

With cruise I set it a a reasonable speed and keep to it  :y
