Removing wiper stalks
« on: 12 May 2008, 10:18:27 »

Morning all,

Just wondering if there was a quick way of removing the wiper stalk from my 2001 GLS Omega. I think it's faulty and is causing my wipers to continiously go....

Any help gratefully recieved.

The cowling around the steering column comes off pretty easily (3 screws underneath and 2 on the front. Turn the steering wheel 90 degrees from straight ahead to reveal them.

The stalks just unclip and slide out IIRC.

I removed them on my old corsa a couple of years back, and to be honest haven't even looked on the omega yet. am at work now, but when I get home I'll be sure to give it a whirl.

Thanks
