Front to rear brake pipe help please
« on: 13 May 2008, 16:37:30 »

3.0 saloon 1997

Failed MOT on number of items that we are working on.

Failure sheet states brake pipe offside front to back badly corroded looking under the car can only see 3 pipes that are fuel pipes no sign of any brake pipe.

On near side there is a pipe.

Have they stated the wrong side on failure sheet?

Is there 2 pipes going from front to back on each side and I just cannot see it the one on offside?

Help as always greatly apprieciated

From memory, both brake pipes run down the nearside.

Pipes that run down the off side are:

Fuel feed pipe
Fuel return pipe
Self leveling suspension air pipe (if fitted)
