Is there any way of polishing the headlight lenses when they turn white over the years ?

I've heard of people using very fine wet and dry paper and getting results.

Otherwise get a set of projector lights from e-bay and directly swop.

(making assumtions here as it's usually only early models theat have this problem)

Follow on from wet n dry (1000 grit no coarser) with T-cut.

I was going to try Brasso - following a comment on another forum for other cars with a similar problem..

(Waits for the flaming)

But my Mig's getting through nearly as much water as petrol at the moment, so it's suddently gone right to the bottom of my list..

To take care of that haze use a light rubbing compound. Don't use heavy duty. Tape off the surrounding area, I'm kind of particular, I taped everything about six inches away. Use a buffer and let it rip, moving the buffer constantly, up, down and sideways. This takes the heavy haze off. Follow up with a plastic polish, there are many out there. I use Meguiars products and went with their plastic polish. I wish I had taken a before and after picture. Perfecto!
