Theres some kind of key thing attached in the bottom of my glove box, What on earth is it

thats the air con input ( refrigerated glovebox) you can either have it open or closed m8

no m8 it is on a slider when your air con is on it blows in unless you slide the slider across to close it

You sure?! My 99 Elite doesn't! I'm sure it was dropped with mini-face lift.
My 92 Senator had it.

just been out and checked and yep i deffo got it and yes mine is a mini facelift

The glove comartment in my facelift is too bloody small to make it practical to put anything in that you'd want to cool anyway.

Useless space in my opinion on the facelift since the advent of the airbag.
