rattling noise

ive mentioned this before, when i pull away i get this noise, sounds like a bolt rolling about on a bit of mettal, and it does it when i brake too doesnt happen all the time but has started again thgis week. ive emptied the car out and cant find anything. its really doing me head in now. any ideas what it could be.  :'( :'(

Thet are fitted to the cats.  Look under the car just behind the front wheels and you may be able to see them

Could it be something rolling around inside one of the doors?

We have one of those, in the Driver's door.  Something to do with a check-strap problem, or impending problem, I believe.  ::)

it does actually sound like its coming from behind the seat behind me, i did lift the seat out and all that was in there was a 2p piece and a sticky sweet and a crisp bag

What about the large flat heatshields from the centre section backwards? I bent mine down to do the handbrake cable and all sorts of stuff had collected on top of them  :-?

Have you recently Changed the Back box. I did and bought a cheap pattern part that doesnt  fit Properly and rattles when ideling and under hard aceleration.

ive just been to see me dad at the legion and the noise has stopped again. totally friggin lost on what it is, i did have a look this morning and couldnt see anything loose.

What ever it was has now probably fallen off. You obviously didn't need it ;D

nope, it comes and goes whatever it is, but saying that i emptied all my tools out this morning, it started again this week when i started this job and loaded up the boot
