blowing smoke

my car seems to be blowing a bit of white smoke the last few days, stops after about 10 mins, possibly change in temp at night, condensation, or somthing more sinister, havent drove it much last few days, just short trips.water was ok when i looked last fri.

thoughts???? cheers

The V6 does give out white vapor until warmed up, as you said its condensation ;)

I had same thing 7:58am outside my lads school gate this morning.  Check when i arrived at work and was clear as a bell....

V6 has a large exhaust system, that gets damp from atmospheric water, and will collect water from combustion if not allowed to get hot.

So lots of short journeys cause moisture to collect in boxes as well as atmospheric moisture ( and its rained a lot recently) .. so "steam" - white smoke ??? - is to be expected until the system warms up FULLY .. which could be 10 - 20 miles IMHO
