To cut a long story short, I had a problem with the fuel gauge on the car, so I removed the dash to check the connections etc... Anyway that seems to be sorted now

Down side... When I got the dash removed, I noticed that someone had soldered a wire across the connectors on the back! I decided to look into the problem... and a few mins later I found out what was going on...

The engine light was wired up with the battery light, so it looks like the lights are all working correctly, when the ECU light is just a mirror of the battery light!

I put it back how it should be, unsoldering the bodge wire, and resoldering the connection back to the ecu, and pushed it back into the dash.
I was expecting the engine light to stay on... which it did, BUT its flickering! Any ideas why? :-/
Did a paperclip test, and it came back with:
133 Intake Manifold Valve 2 Voltage Low
74 Mass Air Flow Sensor Voltage High
What do I do next!
I happen to have a spare MAF so I will try that and post back, any clues on the other probs?
